School Life

A typical week – Part 2

Sporting events such as athletics and swimming carnivals are a great opportunity for students to develop team spirit and good sportsmanship skills. Sport is also a part of the curriculum and is offered during school hours one afternoon each week.

All schools offer a range of extra-curricular activities from bands, orchestras, choirs, chess clubs, drama clubs, debating and a range of others. Involvement in these activities is a great way to practise your English and make new friends that share similar interests.

It is important to remember that asking for help is critical when you are having problems with your studies. Always speak to the International Student Coordinator, Year Adviser or Counsellor as soon as you are struggling with school work.
